Andie Falconi

Andie Falconi (RYT 200) moved to Wilmington from Los Angeles, CA with her husband and two children. She worked as an actress in LA and has always enjoyed yoga. With a background in Power Yoga, Andie also enjoys teaching Deep Stretch and Slow Flow. Passionate about building physical vitality and increasing consciousness, she helps students to release energy blocks through breath and being present. Andie is also certified in Holistic Natural Remedies and Reiki level 1.

Marisa Karoutsos

Yoga Instructor
Marisa is a certified Vinyasa Flow instructor. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2017 under the instruction of Joanna Ducey at Yoga in Common in Myrtle Beach. Marisa’s education in dance and musical theater gives her a unique perspective on flow, and the comprehensive ability to move students through creative and challenging sequences to help them reach their highest vibration. She loves offering meditative and visionary techniques to help quiet the mind, and allow students to focus on their bodies and energies.

Whitney Noble

Whitney’s fitness journey began as she decided to further herself in education with medical, learning that exercise is a very important part of maintaining health and well being. Her passion is to help others in all aspects of their lives as well as in physical fitness. Whitney is certified in YTT 2016 involving group exercise as well as personal training. She incorporates medical benefits of the exercises while doing them with a goal to meet the needs of others while having a great time! She hopes to have a positive impact on the community and spread exercise therapy also.

Jennifer

Jennifer Taginski

Jennifer is well-versed as a fitness instructor, yoga instructor and athletic trainer. She loves outdoor activities like tennis but especially enjoys being on the water paddle boarding and sailing. Jennifer says the fresh salt air energizes her! In college Jennifer studied sports medicine and became an athletic trainer, working with all types of athletes from high school kids to international rugby teams. Safety and function are her main focus. Jennifer began practicing yoga and loves the strength and balance it brings to her life always enjoying the challenge of a new pose. She is very excited to be teaching here at The Crest Fitness Club and hopes to help everyone find a good fitness program.

Judy

Judy H Boss-Currie

Judy is a native of Wilmington and moved back to the area in 2013. Judy got her first yoga certification in 2009 in Fayetteville, North Carolina at Om Yoga Studio. While on vacation in Augusta, Georgia, Judy decided to take anatomy workshop at a studio there and was introduced to Marlysa Sullivan who offered a Therapeutic Yoga certification. Judy now holds a 500-hour Therapeutic Yoga certification and is certified through the International Association of Yoga (IAYT). Judy is currently working on an Applied Kinesiology certification and plans to work online with Tom Walden of Biomechanics and Movement Therapy in England in the fall of 2018.

Daria is a certified AFAA/NASM Group Exercise instructor with additional certifications in TRX and Barre Above. Daria enjoys teaching and her goal is to help folks reach their body and health goals by integrating fun, challenging, exercises into a class format.

Dawn Nelson

Dawn’s fitness career officially started in 1996 at the age of 12 when she became AFAA certified in Group Exercise; she has always had a passion for sports and fitness. Growing up, Dawn played softball, volleyball and basketball both competitively and recreationally. She currently holds certifications in personal training, spinning, SilverSneakers, TRX and Kettlebell. Dawn has been teaching for over 20 years and truly loves that she can help others achieve their fitness goals. Whether you’ve been working out for a while or just starting this journey, know that Dawn is always willing to help. Dawn is incredibly energetic and some of her favorite classes to teach are Boot Camp, Tabata, and Core & Step aerobics.

Chelsea Cordes

Chelsea has been a licensed Zumba fitness instructor for 4 years. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia with her Bachelor’s in both Accounting and Marketing. Her love for Zumba began her senior year at Fredonia when she wanted to take an extracurricular class to have fun and also get a workout. Here her instructor inspired her to become a Zumba instructor herself. After completing her license she taught Zumba at the Adirondack Nautilus in Queensbury, NY where she grew up and lived for several years after college. Now she has moved down to Wilmington for warmer weather and bringing some New York flair to our classes. Chelsea choreographs classes for all different skill levels starting at a beginner pace and incorporates intermediate options that are easy to follow. She also instructs her classes using an interval design, alternating high and low impact to get a great work out while having a great time.

Joe Salerno

Zumba Instructor
Zumba means many different things to all sorts of people- for Joe it’s like an exercise in disguise or even something like recess back in the grade school days. Zumba focuses on individual body movement that works the core in a dynamic way and it also burns fat like crazy. Joe enjoys teaching Zumba because it works and its fun. Joe is proof of that, having lost over 65 pounds and keeping the weight off! He hopes to help others do the same while having fun.

Amy Coleman

Amy Lynelle Coleman

Pilates Instructor
Amy has been a Pilates instructor for The Crest since 2005. She is a certified Pilates teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance organization since 2007. Amy is also a licensed Massage Body Therapist, as well as a ballet instructor during the school year. Her Pilates journey began while working in Europe as a professional dance theater performer. Through injury, she was introduced to Pilates and soon discovered that Pilates would be her new life’s work and a way to reconnect with her family and fellow US citizens. While teaching Pilates at The Crest, Amy loves witnessing how the exercise system of Pilates helps people to become more mindful of their physical bodies.

Paul Ingold

Paul Ingold, BA/AS, began his health and fitness career in 1983 as a personal and corporate fitness trainer, aerobic instructor, aerobic director, and has taught varieties of group exercise classes including; high impact, low impact, body attack, step, abdominals, and currently teaches interval step and pump for all fitness levels on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Paul began teaching at the original Crest Fitness Club in Wrightsville Beach in 1986. He obtained a BA in Criminal Justice from UNCW and then furthered his education in Physical Therapy. Paul has worked in outpatient sports medicine, acute care, and sub-acute care settings. Paul left the physical therapy field to become a clinical research associate for Pharmaceutical Product Development, but his passion has always been in health, fitness, and physical therapy. Paul has been employed by Wellcare Home Health Care for 17 years, where he provides in-home orthopedic and major medical physical therapy for the geriatric population. In his spare time, Paul loves boating, the beach, spending time with family and friends, and his dog Bodie. Paul’s mission statement is to “Feel Good and Look Good” and he encourages it with every encounter.
