Nick, here’s a picture from my 1/2 ironman triathlon this past weekend. Couldn’t have done it without my workouts at the Crest!
Friendliness, cleanliness, classes for all age groups. Very welcoming atmosphere. Owners always on site and helpful.
This club is unlike all the other run-off-the-mill gyms in town. A well kept secret that few know about. The Crest is always kept clean and being family-owned, Nick or Wanda are always there to address any issues. I can highly recommend The Crest!
Nick is an amazing and brilliant man who knows his stuff physiologically and nutritionally.
Crest is the ultimate locally owned fitness club that caters to the needs of the local community. Nick and Wanda are always there and work tirelessly to make sure their members have the best experience they can have while at Crest. If you want a small, high quality, no frills health club, with local flare, this is it!
I have been going to the crest since day 1 in Wilmington and have loved it. My weight lifting career has taken me to many different gyms during its course and I find that that this has been one of the best ones so far. The people that go here are there for one reason, to lift and workout. You don’t see any “meat heads” trying to see who can break the weights on the floor after a max, nor will you be harrassed / embarrassed if you don’t quite know what you are doing. Anyone that is there will be more then helpful if you just ask. The weight room itself isn’t the biggest but trust me there is everything and more to get a good pump in. On the cardio side (which I don’t adventure over to much) very few if any times have all the treadmills or ellipticals have been full. So if you want to get a short workout in and are scared that you may not get a machine, don’t be.
I would recommend this gym to anyone that wants see results without the headache of the big box gyms. Feel free to ask any questions if you want and if you ever need a spot don’t be afraid to ask.
